1. TESC
Installation of sediment control measures are the first step in a successful and worry free work environment. Controlling water and sediment run-off help the continuation of work on the site when conditions are unfavorable. Correctly installing silt fences, detention ponds, sediment socks in catch basins are all important to establishing a good relationship with the environment and governing inspectors. |

2. BRUSH AND GRUB
With a background in the logging business, our operators are comfortable with the removal of trees, stumps and debree even in todays tighter lots. We use a variety of different size equipment to best suit the job requirements. We are very comfortable with steep, extreme slopes. In these cases, we like to use smaller excavators that are very low impact on the environment. 90% of our jobs require that we export all the debree. We use roll off 45 yard bins to accomplish this stage. We are also able to burn debree where governing bodies permit. Many people believe that burning is a more cost effective way to get rid of the material, but we have found that there are several negative aspects of burning. Environmental pollution of course, negative impact on soil where fire piles are, and most of the time there are still remnants left that need to be exported anyway. These days there are several companys that recycle wood products and resale the product, thus making use of our vital resources, and keeping our export prices lower. |

3. DEMOLITION
Our demolition crews have experience with removal of small hotels, residential houses, concrete and asphalt driveways, curbing or whatever your project requires. |

4. MASS EXCAVATION
This step of a project involves the mass excavation for the footprint of whatever it is we are installing and can often be the highest cost line item. This stage is the most difficult to estimate, as we are unable to see exactly what is underground. Soil analysts can tell us what kind of soil we might run into, but they do not estimate how much. Contributing factors include soil density and fluff factor when excavated. We have found that using Caterpillar equipment has maximized productivity and limits downtime. |

5. BACKFILL/SLAB PREP
Most of our jobs we are able to use native soil to backfill the outside of the foundation if the soil is good material. Suitable material for slab on grade subgrade is often imported, placed and compacted for the concrete. Our Cat 304 excavators with blades, rubber tracks and zero tail swing work great in this step. |

6. DOWN SPOUTS/FOOTING DRAINS
Technology is great, we like to use a product called EZ Flow for our footing drainage. This product collects water 300% better than the traditional drain rock method and is extremely less site impacting. We also use this product for our interceptor trenches and infiltration trenches. |

7. STORM SYSTEMS
These days permits often require large detention systems to catch surface water. They are engineered to accommodate the 100 year flood levels. We have installed these detention tanks for residential homes from 30’ to 150’ X 5’ in diameter with manhole catch basins. We have experience with all kinds of storm systems and drainage engineered or not. |

8. SANITARY SEWER
Sewer connections on new construction, or replacing existing damaged lines are achieved with smaller less impacting machines help our operators ability to minimize damage. |

9. UTILITY TRENCHING
We install a wide variety of utilities including gas, power, water, cable, phone, etc. |

10. ROCK RETAINING WALLS
Retaining walls are a vital addition to a finished product. We take great pride in our rock retaining walls as they are what catches the eye when you first see your house or business. |
